Join us for a field trip back in time to visit the age of the Vikings!
THE VIKINGS BEGIN invites visitors into the martial, maritime, and magic-filled world of early Norse society. Visitors will encounter dozens of early Viking artifacts – many over 1400 years old – from boat graves discovered at a site in central Sweden. Only in the US for a limited time, this exhibition brings to life cutting-edge research into some of history’s most fascinating people. This exhibition is curated by Gustavianum, Uppsala University Museum, Sweden.
Cost: $6.50 and does include Fort Conde. (The Discovery Room will also be open then.)
MRCS has 2 timeslots booked – with tours beginning at 9:30am and 11am. Sign-ups are limited to 20 people for each field trip and the tickets are time-specific — please use the link for your desired field trip time below.
