Middle School Fall Activity: ‘Scarecrow In The Gardens’
BELLINGRATH GARDENS IS HAVING A ‘SCARECROW IN THE GARDENS’ CONTEST & MRCS MIDDLE SCHOOLERS (GRADES 6-8) ARE PLANNING TO PARTICIPATE!
Our plan is to compile ideas for our MRCS Scarecrow via email and then vote on a theme! There will be a Middle School get-together (details below) to discuss/create our scarecrow while we enjoy fall snacks!
When: September 28th at 10am
Where: 1750 Winterberry St. Mobile, AL 36695 (Julia’s home)
What: Planning & creating a theme/design elements for the display while enjoying fall snacks!
We will meet a second time, on Friday October 7th at 10 AM at Bellingrath, to set up our scarecrow in the gardens. Families are welcome to stay to tour gardens and eat lunch together!
Additional Contest Notes: Students don’t have to attend both events to participate. Siblings of all ages are welcome to participate/attend! Scarecrow displays will be judged for creativity, originality, and attention to detail. Winning team receives a $100 reward!
