Do you dream of becoming a published author? Maybe you love to write and would enjoy having your words published in magazines and books but, like many beginning writers, you aren’t sure how to get started.
This seminar will show you how, introduce you to the exciting world of writing-to-publish, explain terms writers and editors use, and show you all the wonderful opportunities to write. In addition, you’ll better understand the marketplace of magazines and book publishers, the type of writing editors want, and ways to approach and work with magazine and book editors.
This seminar will teach you how to write well, communicate to a worldwide audience, and have your words published. It will explain the nuts & bolts of writing-to-publish and the basic information you need as a writer to get started on this awesome journey.

Denise George is the author of 30 traditionally published books (with Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Zondervan, Tyndale House, LifeWay, Bethany House, and others) and more than 1,500 magazine articles (in Redbook, Essence, Guideposts, Christianity Today, Decision, and others).
Denise’s last three major publications have been non-fiction books on the Holocaust and the Civil Rights Movement. She is currently working with Penguin Random House Publishers on three military history books on World War II. Denise taught The Writing Minister at Beeson Divinity School of Samford University for eight years.
As founder of The Book Writing Boot Camp, Denise teaches book writing seminars around the U.S. She travels and speaks internationally and is married to Dr. Timothy George, author, columnist, and founding Dean of Beeson Divinity School of Samford University.
