Explore the wildlife of Mobile Bay on this field trip to Dauphin Island!
This field trip features three activities: On the way out we drag our plankton net. We then let you use our microscopes to view the tiny zooplankton.
The second activity is the shrimp net drag. The boat is equipped with a built-in touch tank aquarium. After dragging our shrimp net, we empty our catch in the touch tank for you to see. The deckhand carefully removes any dangerous organisms and then allows you to see and touch certain species.

Our final activity is simply observing various local wildlife. We often see dolphins when we drag our shrimp net. We also see lots of seagulls, brown pelicans, and other birds. Duration is 1 hour. We need at least 20 people at $15 per person.
