Cost:  $4.00 Adults   $3.00 students  ~ Deadline for Registration:  Tuesday, September 3rd

Bring your blankets, picnic lunch and old fashioned lawn games** to enjoy an afternoon under the old Oaks at the Bragg- Mitchell Mansion.

The Bragg-Mitchell Mansion, also known as the Bragg-Mitchell House, is a historic house museum in Mobile, Alabama. It was built in 1855 by Judge John Bragg and is one of the most photographed buildings in the city as well as one of the more popular tourist attractions.  The house has been attributed to John’s brother, a local Alabama architect; Alexander J. Bragg.  We will enjoy an afternoon under the old oaks and tour the Home, Law Library, and areas of the Mansion not generally seen by the public.  This historical tour will enlighten all ages not on only the history of our area but, the unique architecture of the 1800’s.  Contact Field Trip Coordinator Cheri Burke, cherib123@gmail.com, with questions.

*If your family registered for this event at the MRCS Kick-Off, please note the date has changed due to a conflict at the Mansion, and note you will still need to forward your field trip fee and  Field Trip Form (click Field Trip Form to print!) to MRCS to confirm your family’s attendance.

**Should your family have access to or own either a Badminton, Croquet set, or any safe outdoor game please advise along with your registration.
