TUESDAY EVENING PHYSICS

The Department of Physics at the University of South Alabama announces the continuation of its “Tuesday Evening Physics” program. Aimed at local high school students, the program will present topics in physics and astronomy that are often in the news but are seldom presented in high school physics classes. The sessions are free of charge and open to high school students as well as teachers and parents. Each session will be held in Room 240 ILB (Instructional Laboratory Building) on the main campus at USA (on University Boulevard just north of the Administration Building). Each session will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end by 8:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided. The first program will be:
