Summer Scrubs 2014 for Rising Seniors!

Summer Scrubs is an intensive career exploration opportunity for current 11th grade students in Mobile and Baldwin counties who want to explore careers in healthcare. You must be scheduled to graduate in 2015.

Participants:

• spend each day at a different site, exploring a variety of healthcare-related careers.
• interact with health professionals and observe them on the job in a ‘real-world’ environment.
• are able to discuss and ask questions about healthcare jobs and the educational paths available.

Dates:

July 28 – 31, 2014
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Students will be assigned to different healthcare sites each day. Students and/or parents are responsible for transportation to each of these healthcare sites.  Visit: http://www.summerscrubs.com/ to print the application package.  Deadline to apply: March 5, 2014.  Early bonus point if application is submitted prior to February 15, 2014.  PLEASE verify that the Summer Scrubs officials have received any online teacher recommendations that your teachers submit; they had a bug on their website that prevented some recommendations from submitting correctly.
